New born baby

Im from New Zealand and have lived in the UK since 2015 with my partner who is British born.
I was on a youth mobility visa for 2 years then went on the spouse visa and have been for 2.5 years in Feb.
We had our first baby in April.
I was wondering what that means for my next application for my visa in February. Will it make it easier, can I apply for citizenship now?
Congratulations on the birth of your first child.
Unfortunately, it doesn't mean that you can apply for citizenship just yet.
You must still complete 5 years as the spouse of a British citizen. Once you have completed 5 years you can apply for indefinite leave to remain, then you can apply for citizenship as soon as you have ILR, due to being married to a British Citizen.
